Gage blocks are a system for producing precision lengths. Individual blocks are made of metal or ceramic that have been precision ground and lapped to a specific thickness. Gauge blocks come in sets of blocks with a range of standard lengths. In use, the blocks are stacked to make up a desired length.

All sets listed are NIST Certified which is means measurements are made using a standard reference artifact (in most cases a gage block) that NIST has certified to be a specific size. Theoretically, this provides for an unbroken chain of measurement reference all the way back to a primary national standard. It does not, however, take into account how that measurement is made.
NIST Certified Sets Include:
- Certificate of calibration from the manufacturer traceable to NIST
- Deluxe Wood Case
ISO certification is available - this mean measurements are made by an ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory that is periodically audited by ISO 17025 accrediting body to ensure all ISO 17025 requirements are being met.
ISO 17025 calibration is an additional charge, which must be chosen before finalizing any purchases if required. ISO calibration will add time to your order, please contact the sales department for more details.
ISO Certified Sets Include:
- ISO 17025:2005 Accredited long form certification
- ISO Certificate shows deviation of each block
- Deluxe wood case
